Nike Court Vision

You have been seeing the Nike Court Vision everywhere for the better part of 2 years now. A lot of people in the sneaker community do not like the shoe and view it as a cheap knock off. To be fair, it is a mash up of older Nike models and does sell at the discount shoe stores such as Famous Footwear and Shoe Sensation. The most prominent feature to me is the midsole/outsole from the Nike Vandal (Which Nike used for countless models back in the mid 80’s). Nike has been doing this since the begenning of the brand. Before we had the Court Vision we had the Son of Force. There was the Air Inde, and the Fleet Center and the Franchise before that, and that just going back to the early 2000’s. That does not mean that if any of those were the shoe that got you into the sneaker world that there is anything wrong with that. I personally don’t think they are bad in certain colorways. I have a hard time with the all white joints but that is simply because of the way the all white AF1 became the look for basic high school/college kids for the last 3-4 years and every other brand and model followed suit. I do think the Bred and Royal colorways look very good along with the Laker inspired colorway with the white base, purple swoosh and gold trim & laces. They are doing a lot with the shoe at such a low price point. Retail on most low tops is $70 and most of the mids are right at $80. They do bump up the price $5 for some of the more fancy colorways. Just remember there ain’t nothing wrong with Ballin on a Budget. Moral of the story here is the same thing I am going to tell you anytime you ask for my opinion of a pair of kicks, Rock what you like!

These are currently on clearance at Finishline for $60
